This a school that has provided fresh hope for a group of children who had long been written off in society. The Kamatunga School for the deaf is currently giving refuge to some 40 hearing impaired children. Many of the children come from poor families but as John Allan Namu found out, the school hardly gets any funding from the government.

  • Evidence that innovation and real change has never been undertaken by committees, commissions or teams. Courageous deeds and the desire to change things like what Lillian is doing is really the only way to go. NTV would be well served to let us know how we can contribute. 14K is a drop in the bucket and I for one would be willing to commit to contributing on a monthly basis.

  • indeed they are very smart...Uhuru tax every Miraa pick up 10K per trip...and fund this school.
