When they left Tucson Town the cat was driving like a bat outa hell heading for Nogales!!

Lot of drug reference songs from old Hoyt. Loved by many. Ringo The NoNoNo song. 3 Dog Night Mama told me not to come. Steppenwolf Snowblind Friend and the classic stoner anthem THE PUSHER! all wrote by Hoyt. Rip

@greenhornet156 just as I was getting over listening to theme songs from the 80's one had to be mentioned...lol Still, I LOVE this song....it was playing when I was coming back from having an operation. (just hoped that surgeon didn't find out about me and his wife.)

This song brings back many memories of my wilder days.

What a smooth, mellow, wonderful bass voice. So many would LOVE to have a voice like this!

@ron77773 sorry but i never got to meet him. He had passed way before I was told he was my cousin.
Hoyt's wifes parents live next door to me and I had the pleasure of sitting down to dinner one evening with him. He was a great guy and had lots of cool stories.

"the dealer had a knife, and the dog had a gun, and the cat had a shot of rye." Gotta love country lyrics haha.
