A short movie montage of some of the most ridiculous Hero scenes ever put on film. This is a short segment from a longer format compilation film titled "Wrestling with Manhood," edited by Marcus Leshock. That film showcases Hollywood's interpretation of masculinity, in particular how movies groom young boys to behave like "men."

Films featured in this montage include: "Die Hard 2," "Die Hard," "Footloose," "Kindergarten Cop," "Payback," "Taxi Driver," "Total Recall," "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," "Predator," "The Karate Kid."

And of course, the fabulous hit song "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler.
