  • Thanks - Yes, the bolt pattern lines up with no extra drilling. I recommend the carbon fiber motor x-mount though for extra support..

  • @mattklein623 Edit: Looks like the Carbon Fiber Mounts are no longer sold or needed...

  • Awesome flying, this plane looks good and looks like its a good 3D plane. Would you recomend it for a intermediate pilot?

  • @MIRCWOOD Thanks - It depends on what 'intermediate' is - I wouldn't recommend it as a first balsa plane, but if you have another balsa 3D/aerobatic plane this is a great 2nd 'punch' for some fun flying but can still be tuned down to be handled with low rates and more gently. I highly recommend the 3s 2600 with Motrofly 2820-950 setup though as it is a great powerful but smooth system. Hope that helps!

  • Matt,

Great precision/3D work! Noticed U fly Motrofly exclusively. Does the bolt pattern of their motor mounts match up with the 3DHS predrilled & nutted firewalls on this Velox & their 57" Extra?
