  • Memories mate, garage is another one that was only sick in those days, like jungle. They dont make them like this anymore, all the classic garage chords n that, it dont mean anything nowadays, vibes are missed.

  • Sick tune brings me back! love it so much!

  • pure vibing happiness

  • I hate this.

    ...

Which is why I'm going to leave and not complain anymore.

  • This track sums up real uk garage for me.

  • @ncshuriken - You know this mate!

  • @2ndSSBggydbluds

Yea or Cubase 1 on the Atari ST in the early 90s lol. No VST's, no built in synths. Just purely using the Atari and Cubase as a MIDI controller for the physical synths you've got in your rack. People used to make some BIG tings with proper basic kit, but now technology is worlds ahead of the 90's, but only 40% of people know how to make PROPER full flavoured vibes.

  • @ncshuriken so true, hard to find the vibe...

  • I dont get it. Theres plenty of modern day soul-ful vocals to sample and use, all's it takes is a good mixer to create some good drum and synth loops - and what with the technology these days with computer software it should be easier than ever, easier than back in 97' / 98' with old windows 98 mixer software anyhow.

  • @KushPizzaSleep Cheers, one day I will go to one of those. Soon I hope.

  • @2ndSSBggydbluds Mosca, Blawan ect ect

  • @KushPizzaSleep I heard its all about the funky sound these days in the 'real' garage scene? Where do I go to get the proper Uk Garage beats and not 4x4/ Bassline?
