This is basically a re-do of my older build video because I have added and organized the parts.

  • That is way too much thermal paste, should use the grain of rice technique. A thin but even layer is best.

  • @KSIG3NICID3 1. The grain of rice technique for for single core processors, quad cores need thin even paste all over. 2. I didnt use all that was there I used a cleaned credit card to spread and take up a clump of excess.

It works great, but actually I have a hexcore i7 970 now instead of the 920. Also GTX560 in SLi instaed of 9800GTs. I read it ismmuch more dangerous for multiple core processors to have to little paste than it is having too much.

  • BEEFCAKE

i just bought a build with this same case

  • @HubbaBubba9849 I am rebuilding my setup this week. This time I will be more ballsy and cut a few holes in the case to route wires better. You can route wires behind the motherboard, but the case only has 2 holes to get in and out of; it is cramped.

  • Thank you for reasuring me that the v8 fits fine on a dx58so :)

  • @megamindstorm101 Yeah it fits fine on the mobo, I did have to break a fan mount on the Antec 900's front plate to fit the sliding cover back on though. No big deal..

  • Would you recommand the Intel DX58SO

  • @MtnXfreeride where did you get them

  • @mcsnails the cables are wrapped with UV reactive green covers. And I have a black light cold cathod in there to make them glow.

  • @MtnXfreeride are those cable wraps glow in teh dark or what?
