As for the battle...

Of all the blasted luck... Psychic missed Aerodactyl TWICE and all it could have had was a Brightpowder to prevent it from hitting, which is a low chance.

I honestly have no idea how his Cherrim survived an Overheat in the SUN from my Infernape. Cherrim does get a 1.5x sp. def boost in the sun, but that was offset against a 1.5x boost to Overheat due to the sun. My Infernape doesn't have many Sp. Atk EVs invested but DAMN.

@AngeloBlaze when breeding the pokemon you wish to EV train, personally do you take IV's to consideration??

@F44B3 To a certain extent, I tend to not use a pokemon if it has less than 15 IVs in the stats I want but I used to be a lot stricter when it came to IVs back in the day. Depends if you're willing to put in the time to breed a really good poke.
