Review of the Tori Tanto made by Hanwei. This is one of the firs 50 made of T10 steel by mistake. It is a high quality reproduction of a Japanese tanto; extremely sharp.

  • Have you going to dismantle it? How is the tsuka inside?

  • @newtubetubetube Hello, I solt it, but no, never disassembled it.

  • Waaa you are wasting your edge on cardboard... i hope you know a good polisher. :)

  • @newtubetubetube Well, we are talking about a Chinese reproduction here.. Even though it is a good quality knife, it isn't Nihonto...

  • @gilgsn Do that mean that you have sharpened it with a edge bevel, like a regular knife?

  • @newtubetubetube No, I never sharpened it. It was extremely sharp, and I practically never used it. If I had a real one, I probably would have a professional do it for me.. On a Chinese copy, I would have learned the proper way to sharpen it myself.. Not that they are of a lesser quality, but they cost much less and are replaceable.
