@powerman5000ca I've had mine since 1993. Fun guitars. The second knob is not tone it mixes in the pre-amped signal which fattens the tone hugely. It has a great distorted tone with stuff like pinch harmonics really singing.
The clean tone is nothing to write home about.
Neck is pretty good. Quite thin and a short scale length so comfortable to play for long periods. Obviously action is a function of setup but mine is fine and low. The body is VERY lightweight but the sustain is excellent.

I've got a standard Dana model. That tri-force pickup is bitchin. Strangest guitar I've ever had an I got it for free. Some guy was moving from an apartment and said "Hey you want some free stuff?" There was the Alvarez... The wiring inside was completely annihilated and it took me a couple years to find someone that could wire it up for me. Clean clean clean clean clean sound... No mud when in overdrive either. Has locking Floyd Rose as well and never goes out of tune. Pick one up if you can...

Sorry , but looks alone don't cut it .
Don't bother reponding , since you didn't know anything either as per your respond to my comment " looks great , what else would you need to know " what kind of shit is that . How about the feel of the neck , action , weight of the body , differant tones you can get with pickup settings etc . FSH

@powerman5000ca its a really cool looking guitar, that's it. What else would you possibly want to know?

Should of had someone actually playing it to demonstrate it's capabilities instead of someone just wanging on it making a bunch of harmonic wammy noises .
I left this just the way I came in , not knowing crap about the instrument .
Thanks anyway

I first saw your guitar on ebay and liked the unique look but I have had strap malfunction before and was wondering about durability because accidents will and have happened.
Looks neat but the neck connection area seems like it would be weakened because of the cut, just my opinion.

YEah, I wish I still had this one. the neck was fine, if you can find one, get it. they set up nicely and play like butter. Thanks for checkin it out. P.S. I never dropped it so I'm not sure how it would take something like that.
