This was a test to see if I could successfully convert the MOD file format from a Canon FS100 using my G5 Mac. Using MPEG StreamClip and procedure found at http://daz4590.co.uk/wordpress/2008/08/22/converting-mod-files-to-something-a... this MPEG-4 file was then uploaded to YouTube. Try watching it in "High Quality" mode it's pretty good for $300 tapeless camcorder that with conversion will yield 'tapeless' DV files on a Mac. That you can then edit in Imovie 06/08 or FCE/FCP! IMHO.
I have a question cuz I dont really understand:
I have a MBP and a canon FS100 on my PC it works brilliant with Video Deluxe but I had to convert the Videos.
Now that I have a Mac .MOD files are bad.
I want to know if theres a way to put videos on a Mac and upload them to YouTube for FREE?
Pls help.
