Great question! We usually do a very abbreviated warm-up in that case... since they are already 'warm.'

If you have the guys do a workout prior to practice, do they still go through a warm-up such as this or do they go straight to practice??

I think you are making a HUGE mistake by not playing high school basketball... but that is just my opinion. If anything, you should play HS ball and not play AAU so you can work on your game, strength, power, etc.

Yes, i have a question if you don't mind answering. I am a sophmore and at the middle most important time of our varsity season and i have twisted my ankles a few times. Although they are better they are still giving me problems, but i can't stop pplaying because i don't want to let the team down. What should i do?

I can't make any specific recommendations about YOUR ankles - I suggest you speak with an athletic trainer or physical therapist. But check out our video called "Ankle Training for Basketball" on our YouTube channel!
