I cried knowing that my 7yr old baby girl will someday part from me like this, but of natural causes, at least i hope<3 R.I.P poor CJ.

very beautifull, I accectly know what you mean. I had to let got my dog 2 years ago. And now since 4 weeks i have a new sgd.
It makes me happy to see that a sgd is still being loved so much!

I'm so sorry for your loss of CJ, she looked like a very loving companion. You have made a beautiful tribute to her. I've never seen the poem before, but I thank you for sharing it. We lost our first dog (a yellow lab/golden retreiver cross, named Danny) a little over a year ago, due to a mass cell tumour (he was 9). We will love him forever.
We have since adopted a seniour lab, who was not spayed & were considering having the surgery done. She is 8 yrs now. Perhaps we should reconsider.

I know alot of sadness myself since I loss my beloved Cuddles this summer of 2009. He loved me so much and I was very close to him too. I still have his mother, Whiskey but nothing seems quite the same anymore. I had hoped he could be saved and feel if I could have known more or did something different he'd still be with me. May God Bless us in our time of sorrow while we're missing our faithful pets forever.

i know what ya going thru, i lost my baby when she got hit by some asshole and left her on the side of the road, that tore me up deeply, i will post a video response for you to take a look, and it's getting close to the one year mark

I no how you feel i lost my dog. It hurt me so much. I didont know how to move on. it makes me cry every day about it she was a awsome dog. I know what your feeling and i hope you feel better soon.
