I've listened to Chucho Valdes' recording of this song too many times to count, and I am really impressed by how well you have captured the nuances of the song. Of course the notes are solid, but even the time, phrasing, and attack seems just like Chucho. This is really awesome. Thanks!

Que sentido tiene este video en respuesta a learn to play songs by ear? El otro por lo menos enseña. Que falta de respeto para otras personas que tienen mas valores morales

Te muestra que es posible tocar casi todo lo que quiere solo utilizando tu ojejas ya que no hay particion detallada para esta version de mambo influenciado de chucho valdes. Si escuchas el album "lucumi", veras que es casi similar.

you're absolutely amazing! I'm learning this song now for my latin ensemble and it's difficult! Bravo to you! You're also probably one of the best Cuban-jazz pianists on youtube for someone who isn't already "famous". Absolutely fantastic! Chucho Valdes would be proud! ;o)

Thanks,but I'm not such a great pianist, there are a lot of dudes who could play as well or even better, they just don't do it coz tryin to play this kind of stuff without the transcripts is just a little bit crazy, but thanks anyway.
