  • I knew Tim from the early 70's in the West Village when I was very. I adored him and his music. But this song, asking "will you ever remember me" makes me cry and I want to tell him, yes Tim, I remember you.

  • This is on the jukebox in my local...nobody ever played it..so everytime I go in, even before ordering a drink, I put this on the jukebox.....I'm slowly turning everyone on to the late great Tim Buckley....glad to do my little bit to bring him to everyone's attention!

  • Remember this from coming home...fantastic piece of music to emphasize the emotions of the movie

  • One brave American hero.

  • Awesome voice

  • @barbaralinn And sometimes I wonder, just for a while, will you ever remember me... Ever, remember me? Yes Tim, we remember you, with all our true lovers you make us remembering. I cried of a good weeping everytime I sang myself "will you ever..."... Remember me?

  • and of course Jeff life is fleeting

  • This guy means a lot to me for sure really miss him

  • so deep

  • Barbaralinn, my thoughts exactly. I never knew or met Tim. I saw him at the Whiskey in Hollywood my senior year - 1968. I'm sure you'll agree, you could never record what you saw, experienced when he sang. Your comment made me choke up. I felt, like anyone who loved his music, like he was mine. I know you understand what I mean. When you said "yes, Tim, I remember you", yes, yes. His music hit your core. He did what music does best: makes you feel love, life, and yourself.

  • I've begun reading Dream Brother, the story of the Buckley family. I'm telling you, it's hard to not imagine most of Tim's songs not being inspired by his whole tragedy with Mary and Jeff. The word "tragedy" might not be the right one, but seeing as he had the choice "Musical career or family father" - and the first one being his dream, the second his responsebility - man it must've been hard. "He was never really happy" is a quote about Tim in the book. Get the book! "Dream Brother"

  • awesome song, great, absolutely great tim buckley, ciao tim old italian man.
