i hate to tell you this but that is not greenland shark.... the greenland shark lives strictly in the arctic ocean in ALASKA. that my friend was a Basking Shark.... the basking shark is very odd shark with a very large mouth and eats small fish.... it is a friendly giant... you can safely swim with them and not worry about a thing.

@Sk8chic100 I don't think this animal was a Greenland shark,(and you're probably right about it being a basking shark) but they do actually live in Norwegian waters - they are even relatively common in some areas. The world record greenland shark was caught in a Norwegian fjord, for example. And this place that Malswam mentions, Sørøya - where it stranded - is an island in the most northern Norway, and it is high up in the Arctic Ocean.
