Speed Racer (SNES) gameplay

I'm sorry but I couldn't take anymore than 1 lap. I know there are a ton of Speed Racer fans out there. BUT the controll of this game is horrid! I will at some point revist this game and show some of the side scrolling "action" levels. And they are painful to play as well. BUT for all the Speed Racer fans out there this is for you! (if you wondering why I did a game I don't like you can blame Game Informer magazine. It was in one of thier retro reviews and I figured it couldn't be as bad as they made it sound... they were right. OH GOD THEY WERE RIGHT!!!)

@MarioKinnikuman I'm sorry to inform you that this is how the game runs on racing levels. Thats part of why I could only get myself to play only 1 lap while making the video.

Omigosh! I have this game, but I can't play it because it won't let me use an SNES control pad. It requires an exercise bike to even play it, and it takes me back to the game select menu. It has another game in it too. Some bicycle racing game. It won't let me play it with an SNES controller either :(

this was played on an emulater and I used a Xbox 360 controller to play it. So i don't understand why the real game wouldnt allow a SNES control pad. I'm waiting for my copy to come in the mail I guess I'll see what you mean lol.

If your a Speed Racer fan. Yes this could be your holy grail of gaming. But as person who is not a fan of the show and was just looking to try a game I never played before this was sadly not very fun. I figured with all the Mach 5's gadgets and the action from the cartoon it was prime for a game. But bad controlls and and boreing level disgin take away from what could have been a good game. I respect your opinion 100% but as a gamer i feel this fell short of it's full potential.
