A look at probably the most beautiful knife in my collection: the Mini Explorer was made by Belgian custom knife maker Filip De Coene, based on a drawing by Antoine Van Loocke, whose knife designs get attention in the art world. The original bigger Explorer is on display in a design museum, and this is the more EDC-able variant. We also go into the background of this knife.

  • This one is like a porsche 911...Love it or Hate it...

  • @oromoto And, like a Porsche 911, friends and enemies both agree that it's a masterpiece! ;-)

  • were an i buy the recycled knives?

  • @fatbeats101 I cannot post direct links, hence I say this: first you google:

    knifeforging Antoine Van Loocke

And you click the first link where you can contact the maker Antoine Van Loocke.

  • I looked all over the bladeworks site and I dont see anything that directly lets you "buy" the knife. Is there a specific shop that he sells them to, how can I get my hands on one.

  • There is a contact button on the site where you can inquire.
