the spider is smarter than you, look at your title

Here is the truth. Most "low levels of life" are actually much smarter then us. It is only pure luck that we have an advantage for we are larger then them, have hands with opposable fingers and thumbs, and we can use heard vocals to communicate. Gorrilas have been taught for ASL, american sign language, so why stop there? People look to other planets for intellegent life, but look back home! my friend's parrot can already laugh and point at me!

Great video but the spider is not using the lid as a tool. It can escape an environment in a clever way but for the lid to be a tool the spider would have to also close the lid when it returns.

@thenickyb27 True, the countless false assumptions behind the process of trying to find similar life out there just proves your point. We were amongst the smartest thousands of years ago, that was the only trait that let us survive, but once secure environment was established, different life requirements arose, the evolutionary agents changed to things like social acceptance. Intellect gradually became a useless trait through evolution got taken over by emotions.

so cool!

Damn nature! You scary!

@TheFoster06 Yes, they were.
-
@dnjaaa You're fake and irrelevant =D

Spiders have a very short memory. Nature gives to plants and animals what they need to survive and logic is not necessary for a spider.
-
@dnjaaa I doubt that. My rose-haired spider learned how to do the same thing and I almost had a heart attack when I saw her doing it.

Quick! Breed that one with another that can dial phones! ; )
you don't dare touch your spiders? By the way, what's the species of that spider?
and do check my video out on my spider=D
