After sharing his painting tools, Chee begins to show you how to paint on a wet surface. This allows you to edit your watercolor painting late in the process. Cheng-Khee Chee lifts pigment with sponges, stencils and brushes then rebuilds tones and puts the finishing touches on his intricate city scene.
Chee's watercolor approach has two main parts: The first part he is in his right brain, and he shows how to paint watercolor starting with emotional content, confident brush strokes and large blocks of color. In the second half of the painting workshop Chee slows down and beings the left brain approach including analyzing his painting and making adjustments.
Besides learning how to paint, you'll learn which tools Cheng-Khee Chee uses including reference photos and deep palettes for his watercolor paints.
