Lamar Odom: Mavericks/Thunder Recap

D210's Norrelle Dickson goes one on one with Dallas Mavericks forward Lamar Odom on the Maverick victory over the Oklahoma Thunder Monday Night (01.02.12). Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks played one their best games of the season as the Mavs looked like the 2011 NBA Champions tonight as they beat the Oklahoma Thunder 100-87 handing the the Thunder their first loss of the season. Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 26 points and became 31st player in NBA history to reach the 8,000th career basket milestone.

The Mavericks' bench outscored the Thunder's bench, 47-25. Jason Terry, Vince Carter and Ian Mahinmi all scored in double figures off the Mavs bench. The Thunder were led by Kevin Durant's 27 points in the loss while Russell Westbrook added 18 points.
