Uh...A little labored. I think this song is best done in a direct sort of way. As though you'd talk to a confidant-- and wail "Alison" my aim is true. Or just privately.
Thsi song has a publicness about it that just doesn't quite work. Pretty- of course. Heartfelt? Ok... Striking, Bare, Honest? well Elvis can always convince you if he wants. As real as it should be? Nah.
