Taken from the Fighting Pistol DVD.

Shows trigger reset in slow motion.

The "click" you hear after a shot has been fired is the trigger resetting, in order to get this "click" you have to release the trigger slowly (either after a shot has been fired and the trigger is held down, or you manually rack the slide and the trigger is held down). When the click is heard, you are then able to squeeze the trigger to fire another round. Repeat until empty.

  • Uhh, what?

Who was that comment directed at?

  • The video is shown in slow motion. As well, when you just reset the trigger, there is less movement time for your finger, therefore making followup shots faster. Instead of pulling the trigger, moving your finger all the way to the front of the guard, and then pulling all the way back. Your shooting speed is increased dramatically when you do a trigger reset.

  • This man is correct.

  • Also if you are engaging and you're jerking your tricker back because you want speed but your finger is all the way at the front of the trigger guard every time you shoot, the accuracy you are getting is going to suck.

  • Nice watch! Is that a Breitling? Which model?

  • @arkangel8419 you were talking about getting a trigger job to shorten the DA trigger pull on the sig (the QA trigger). I was recomending switching pistols to a single action type. (1911)

  • @Daytonaman675 ok but what does that have to do with my comment

  • @arkangel8419 1911's are some of the easiest pistols to do this with its called "catching the link" and when you get where you can feel that sear catch it is very easy to do.

  • absolutly, the only problem is this is something that needs to be practiced b4 u actually do it in the field, while glocks seem to be a little easier to pick this up, SIGs(although ucan send ur sig back & get a quick trigger reset, which makes me wonder why they dont maske them like that to begin with) & my S&W 6906 seem to be a little more difficult to get this down. But once u get it down u actually start to do it without even noticing. It makes for a much smoother & faster follow up shot,

  • i like it sounds like thunder and stuff..

  • This is normal for handguns like the Glock. If you lock the slide open, the barrel tilts up slightly. This preps the position of the barrel so that a new round can be stripped from the magazine and fed into the chamber.

  • its a pistol cycling system call direct blowback, wheras, it uses the recoil of the round to cylce the slide and load another round, unlike the AR gas impingement syste or piston impingement system.

  • it's a ninja technique to help bullets curve around walls. fucking jackass, keep playing with your airsoft guns.

  • got it , pull, click, repeat!
