AUDIO ONLY. Dave "not that one" Stewart & Barbara Gaskin - "Busy Doing Nothing"

This Dave Stewart is not the same Dave Stewart from Eurythmics. This Dave Stewart was in Egg, Hatfield and the North, National Health and other prog bands.

I have no connection to the band. I've just been a fan since the '80's.

  • "I've got these signed singled framed." Er, signed singles. :)

I've been a fan since the mid-80's. Until it happened I never would have dreamed that I'd ever get to see them live, let alone meet them, let alone it be at a tiny intimate club. It was so fantastic.

  • Wow, you got to meet them!

  • @poodyglitz Sorry this reply is so late. They actually played live at a small club in Chicago called Schubas, must've been in the early '90's. I just about fell down in shock and disbelief when I saw their name listed as upcoming. I was thrilled to meet them. I've got these signed singled framed. I took them out of the frames to scan for these videos.

  • Brill :)

  • Yes, also a massive fan. All their albums on CD. Some of my most treasured discs.

  • this sounds so completely different than Spyrogyra {who were amazing}... hard to believe it's the same Barbara Gaskin

  • Ah, the days of Spaceward Studios. I remember hearing this in the control room. It sounded EPIC, a real heaven's gate of an effort.

    Happy Days indeed....

  • It was 1990 that they toured the US. I met them at the North Star Bar in Philly. Very nice people, but never got the exposure they needed to break them in the US.

  • Wonderful.

  • holy shit!!!..huge fan
