This is interesting because I live in the Yorkshire region and our Analogue has not been switched off yet. I can't believe they just pull the plug like that in the middle of a programme with no ceremony or fanfare.
The rest of the UK is probably going to be switched over in much the same fashion. Either that or we'll get a patronising program from the BBC that feature patronising presenters with no technical knowledge trying to explain 'what's about to happen'.
"Justice not yet done" - sums up this closedown rather nicely! Couldn't they have gone out with an old-fashioned National Anthem closedown, or at least a countdown clock?

They could in theory announce it on BBC2 analogue with the last transmitter in each area as BBC2 has a number of different regions.
BBC2 digital only has 4 regions (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)
I expect they will on 30/03/13 when BBC2 analogue finally en
