Love youre drum sett man!... But not that tight at the start!.... Should try to focus on hitt a little harder!. It will make it so much easier to play cool at easy parts :)

@VokaldudeFF Thanks! Oh yeah, I know this isn't a good cover at all. I was still learning on how to adjust all the levels for my in-ear monitors. Since they were too loud when I recorded this, I am hitting very light. In my most recent videos I've learned how to get the levels right. Also, this song is HARD to play and I am not that good anyways! I play once a week tops...

Indeed, Dirk Bruinenberg plays some of the most insane metal drum rhythms (i.e. Adagio, Elegy, Patrick Rondat and other cool bands)

Can you play some Adagio or Elegy please?

@RockbertoRocks Thanks! I wouldn't say it's impossible to play Elegy and Adagio but it would take a long time for me to learn those songs, I would have to write them down. Patrick Rondat's Ephemeral World is "easier" than those two other bands but still a very good mental challenge to play them right.

sorry to let you know... but my friend Dirk didn't play on this track or CD... That's was only on 4th legacy... I got really sick and in the hospital and Dirk came in and did I believe 3 songs on that session... So if you could give me some kind of props.... hahahah... I wasn't sick on the Black Halo...

sounds good though .... and everyone who is saying anything negative about your playing should try to play this song... it's not that easy...

Yo Dirk, i personally think this cover is nothing sort of the standard u played in Adagio, particularly in underworld album, just mind blowing man! Could u please play some of your old stuff man.. Would love to watch it!

@KillerDrummer88 Yes, I agree with both of you guys. This is the studio version which is very difficult for ME to play. The live version (available on YouTube) is more straight forward. Besides, I played this song just 3 times before I captured it on tape so it is indeed far from acceptable. But it's fun, and some day I will get it right :o).

@Maidenizer have to agree.... man your good, but not accurate at all!! Not saying I'm much better, but I can clearly see you've got make your limbs work better, you run around the beat and are not well locked in..
