I know I'm going to get a lot of negative feedback from my words due to its criticism, but everyone's a critic, right? Two of the most important things I saw that were clear here were that both had a great time dancing together and they did their routine well. The only thing I have to say about this is that I didn't see a single basic swing out. I assume since this is called the International Lindy Hop Championships, there should be a swing out somewhere.

I'm watching this video again, and I freakin' love the way Alice Mei moves. No, I'm not talking about her swivels or the dress either. Let me see if I can describe this at the risk of sounding foolish. It's like the dancing doesn't stop where her body stops - it just keeps going out and out and out... And the thing that's great about them as a couple, is they're really sharing the energy; he's not just tossing her around, she's playing off him and he's playing off her. I love that! So inspiring!
