Jean-Yves Thibaudet's masterful playing can be heard on the motion picture soundtracks of Pride & Prejudice, Atonement (the score won the Academy Award!) and the new Tom Hanks/Sandra Bullock movie, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
Thibaudet comes to Miami after performing as the featured soloist with the New York Philharmonic's PBS-televised New Year's Eve Gala and as soloist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Disney Hall.
Jean-Yves Thibaudet has been thrilling audiences around the world for more than 30 years—and will perform the technically dazzling Lizst Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Tschaikowski St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra—in a season that celebrates the 200th birthday of Franz Liszt, arguably the greatest virtuosic pianist/composer of all time.
