BIZARRE, BIZARRE GAME AT THE 'SHOE!!!

This has to be the most bizarre play I've ever seen in the NCAA Football video game series. Ohio State ran a fake punt against my Eastern Michigan Hurons on Sept. 25, 2010 in my NCAA '08 'nasty. I suspected a fake, because it was in the same area the CPU always calls a fake. I called for a 4-3 blitz and didn't even have a return man. I blitzed, the CPU snapped the ball to upman Daniel Herron and he covered up the ball and tippy-toed through the line. He continued to run this way all the way to a 51-yard TD run. Meanwhile, my defenders all swarmed around another upman, Aaron Gant, and played ring-around-the-rosey with him. The other videos are double-turnover plays. The first was EMU's Marty Cardwell intercepting a pass and then fumbling it back. The second was a rare double forced fumble by EMU receiver David Fox, who knocked the ball from Ken Fowler (#34) after an interception, then knocked it from Ohio State's Donnie Evege after he recovered the ball. EMU quarterback Wallace Stone ultimately recovered the ball.

On the PlayStation 2, I hear this game rocks. I have the PlayStation 3 and there are so many features stripped out of this game it's unbelievable. Plus the control is completely lacking. I thought I was upgrading when I bought a PS3, but I'm envious of the guys who are still playing NCAA on the PS2. I'm hoping (but not holding my breath) that NCAA '09 on the PS3 makes the investment worth my money.
