Your argument about free trade makes sense when we're talking about commodities traded between two countries. But when two countries are developmentally imbalanced, what happens is that CAPITAL gets outsourced, and people in the more developed country lose jobs while you have sweatshop conditions in the less developed country.

While I acknowledge the logic in your argument I would say that allowing the Third World to make our goods cheaper than we can allows us to save on goods while concentrating our labour on more specialized industries.

You should also have pointed out another reason why it wouldn't make economic sense, in that having your monetary policy held hostage by the flat earthers'/creationists/civill war reenactors/climate conspiracy theorists that now make up the republican party... is not a good idea.

Fact: only 2 people has mentioned the amero and a high number of people are rejecting this amero over and done situation. People who think oh since the EU has it chance are we might get it as well. You just need to look at the Europe small countries that were fluctuating currencies it became costly and inflation made every purchase a dart shot or a lottery. you need to understand the problems that Europe faced during those years. some small countries had to do large business among others.

As I explained in the vid their are plenty of legitimate reasons to further intergrate our economies.I don't think a bunch of students getting together is evidence that the current governments are secretly plotting to create this mythical government.I don't know if that is what you are suggesting but those are my thoughts which you requested.
