Oil is the primary fuel of the global economy. 98% of cars and trucks, 100% of farm equipment, 99% of trains, and 100% of airplanes run on oil. Oil provides 50% of all energy in the USA. It is used for plastics, cosmetics, packaging, etc.

Shell oil geologist M. King Hubbert predicted that U.S. oil production would peak around 1970, which it did.

Now, the USA consumes more than twice as much as it produces.

The GAO states that world oil production is expected to peak any time now but the federal government doesn't have a plan.

Oil will continue to become more and more expensive as peak oil is passed and prices rise.

  • ***HEMP IS THE ANSWER!***

We can get fuel, food, plastics, oils, insulation, textiles, paper, and thousands of other superior products. It can end our dependency on foreign oil that fund extremist regimens and terrorism. It can solve our deforestation problem as virtually no tree would have to be cut down for its products. Why are we humans so dumb? When are we going to get out of our way? This incredible plant had been used for thousands of years.Making hemp illegal is a crime against humanity.

  • @djlazlow1 hah, or u just want to get high all the time!

  • @kpeavey1 Access to food is one of the major problems of world hunger, it's not entirely insufficient food production. Hemp production requires virtually no fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides and it is much more efficient on the land than most crops we use today. I am neither a land developer or a farmer, but there's no use for humanity in keeping that plant illegal. And me being stoned or not is rather irrelevant to this discussion.

  • @djlazlow1 How much arable land is required to grow the amount of hemp needed to replace petroleum products? Is the land available? What will your Hemp Plan demand in terms of fertilizers/pesticides/herbicides (currently produced with petroelum products)? Can you scale up such a plan in the time available (0-30 years)? Does you plan account for limited arable land in the face of a growing global population and food production needs? Are you, in fact, stoned right now?

  • @acavideo BRILLIANT COMMENT! BRAVO!

  • @persevere67 YOUR COMMENT has made me CRACK UP.....But it is short and TRUE......UNLESS we can figure something out FAST......Thanks for the LAUGH.......

  • @weeboodeath I assume you are backing this argument withe the Bible saying god gave us the earth to use as we see fit, that We are the chosen race? I sincerly pity you. Mankind is born out of pure coincience there is no purpose, no plan. We are but talking monkeys nothing more! ressources are just bucnhc of atome composing molecules. It is like saying we have hands so we can wear gloves. There is no "birthright" just desilusions!

  • One way I prepared for peak oil was converting my home to a net-zero solar powered home that uses no oil or gas..I made a video about it called, "Preparing for Peak Oil"....
