I have something to say. When my father came to the US/ NYC that was the first time he experienced anything racial. In Puerto Rico we are black/white with red hair and we never think about that nonsense. We accept people not for the color of their skin but for whats in their heart....

Puerto Ricans come in all colors. Some have blond hair & blue eyes. Some have red hair & green eyes. We have black, mulatto & fair skinned. What makes us unique is we are a mixture of European, Taino Indian & Afican. The best of everything in one package. I look white but I'm 100% Boricua. I even checked my family tree dating back to the 18th century in Spain & the names of my native Indian relatives. I say be proud because us Puerto Rican are very special people.

@jrdiesel69 I love the comment!!! You're absolutely right. We come in all different shades of colors. My belief is that we carry it in the blood. I was born in DC but yet proudly say I'm BORICUA by my father's blood. I display it with flags, flags in my car and have even gone as far as getting a PR tattoo! You're definitely right....... Puerto Rican's ARE very special people! I hope you like my other videos! I'm proud to be BORICUA!!!!
