@DooKTheFresh If the economy is going up why are their so much more economic protest and government oppression going on? Who owns the economy of the Philippines? Is it the Filipino people? or Is it Chinese, European and American Corporations and the Philippine government that is often manipulated like a puppet by these foreign firms? @DooKTheFresh Okay? Who benefits from the industrialization? Obviously not the general population because if it did then there wouldnt be so much little children coming up to me begging for food, water or pesos and there wouldn't be such a high unemployment rate. So the question is, even if the GDP of the Philippines is rising where is all the money going? Are the Filipino people happy? Do the jobs the economy provides pay for the basic needs of a human? Or is it just sweatshop labor?
