I'm sure this instrumental is not something that Dre is proud of, like saying to himself: "Wow, I blew their speakers with this one!".
It's more of a "freestyle instrumental", having fun on it, and not putting to much into it, that is why I think he used some really simple notes and chords. Plus, I picture him making a kick, snare and bass for this one, in about 5 minutes, with chords and everything, in maximum 5 minutes.
