  • Haydn also did "Fishman" on an episode of the Dick Van Dyke series.

Also, in response to an earlier question, no, sorry, this is the only clip I have of Clyde Crashcup.

  • @Kristeneaux i wish i could find the one where he invented baseball. "That's base for base and ball for ball - baseball!" lol

  • This was a funny character way back in the day. Too bad that there aren't more of them accessible here.

  • @drbotanus The show is owned by Bagdasarian Productions. The DVD righs are owned by Paramount

  • You so lucky this not been remove Oh Ross Jr had all the alvin show videos remove from You tube either he did are the folks at Paramount did....we are just i miss the openin credits n closin credits.....

  • lol, Clyde Crashcup was always "inventing" things that were already invented. The silent Leonardo had to constantly correct him.

I remember when he invented SOAP, "S-O for SO, and O-A-P for OAP...soap''

  • "Child, let go. Child, LET GO!"

  • Interesting in that Clyde Crashcup invented the baby shortly after he had invented the wife.:-)

  • CLYDE CRASHCUP = BARNEY CRASHCUP

  • Bitchin cartoon. The original Alvin show was clever. Who owns these now. Legal issues have torn the Rocky Show apart. With different creators claiming ownership of the different segments, characters and music score. Wonder if thats a problem with all these 60s variety show cartoons.

  • I have never met anyone (in person) that has ever heard of this cartoon! When I was a kid I LOVED this cartoon! Thanks to YouTube I can know share it with my daughter!
