2010 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew

This has a Triton 5.4L 24v SOHC V8 making 310 HP while paired to a 6 Speed Auto.

I find these the best truck in the Full-Size Pickup Market. Only Downer here is the old 5.4L which is down on power but makes up for it a bit with it's Torque. At LEast Ford Rectified that issue with the new 5.0L, 6.2L, & Ecoboost 3.5L.

Interior quality is very decent. A few Hard Plastics here and there but it doesn't have that Flimsy, brittle, or Rough feel to it. The Center console is well planted and doesn't juggle around like found in all the others.

The Seats were very comfortable, & the Back Seat was also cavernous. No wonder why these pickups still sell very well despite the rising fuel costs.

  • really could use a tune or new exaust. sounds dumb with tthat limit. my 2003 has a limit but it is an alernating rev, it doesnt hold at 4k

  • @trent1234108

It really doesnt matter as no one need to rev that hard when in park. Bypassing or wanting it to go higher is simply for the pleasure which is just pointless. Once you are in drive in will reach 5500.

Heck, the new 2011 3.7L V6 has the same rev limit yet when you go in drive, that little beast screams to 7000 RPM lol...

  • Yeah, I'd say definite repo or trade for a 2011 model...

and im so tired of that chime. Lol

and it's got the center console. You don't find that in rentals. All those have the 40/20/40 bench

  • @mkm230

Yeah rentals being Plain Jane. I so hate bench seats up front. I like how the Lariats come with a Floor Shifter.

I think Ford should revise that chime and give it a more prestige sound Like BMW, Their old chime from the 90s & early 2000's wasn't bad. If they wanted more melody, they could've just added some more tones to the old 1.

  • I was about to say, I see a rental here! But then I saw the mileage and it has the 5.4 as we had the 4.6 3 valve engine. Im assuming whoever had this truck traded it in for the 2011 which I dont blame them, I would have done the same lol

Why is it making that nasty creaking noise when you put it in gear tho 0_0

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

Just me not applying full pressure to the brakes when putting it in drive & giving it throttle. I'm quite sure too that the owner ditched this for the 2011, its a no brainer. In the owners shoes, I would never feel satisfied owning this newly purchased truck when newer & better engines are out there.

Or a possible Repo as its never to early for it.

  • nice truck man ..my brother just got one yesterday for $44.000 and he love it.....and he sold me his old 2001 7.3L f 350 diesel ....and i love it....ford trucks forever...

  • @talldude123 I have a Ford Flex with the new chime and I have to say it isnt annoying at all and actually kinda nice. I do like the old chime in the 95-2005 Fords. I hate the chime in the 2006-2010 Explorer. I have to say the BMW sound is by far the best on the market.

  • Looks like it was a rental, I had a 2005 F-150 Extended Cab XLT with the 4.6 Triton for a rental one, nice truck.

  • @mkm230 The chime sounds so cheap. I like the chime found in the Explorer's and F150's from the early 00's
