Nipsey Hussle, a member of the Rolling 60s in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South LA has now turned his street energy into a successful music career with his new album coming out during the summer 2009, South Central State of Mind. Nipsey Hussle was featured on the cover of Allhood Magazine talking about his transition to hip-hop and how he started off on Slauson & Crenshaw.

Nipsey Hussle's album is a joint venture between "Uneek Music," "All Money In, No Money Out" and "Cinematic Records" being distributed by Sony Columbia.

"There Goes the Neighborhood" is the next mix tape featuring the Slauson Boys.
