Russian forces re-occupy Georgian village called Perevi

Russian occupants have returned to Perevi village. The soldiers are reinforcing the check-points that they dismantled yesterday. About hundred soldiers have deployed at the old positions. Additional units were landed from helicopters in the village in the morning. Several units of hardware have been deployed in Perevi. Talks between the Georgian side and the Russian occupants have ended with no results. Georgian police have left the village again. Russian helicopters are reconnoitering Perevi.

Russian occupants have not let the EU states ambassadors in Perevi village. The militants have closed the entrance of the village. The representatives of the diplomatic corps have evaluated the occupants` actions as violation of human rights and pointed out that the Russians` strange actions are another breach of the six-point agreement. The ambassadors say that Perevi is a part of independent Georgian territory and they support the local population. EU and OSCE military monitors have come to the entrance of the village since morning as well.
