Granny Square Afghan

This is a granny throw I made for my aunt (who helped me a great deal during my illness) over a month's time, working on it off and on. It came out beautiful and she loves it.

The pattern is free to download from the Lion Brand Yarn website under crocheted afghans.

My beautiful mother taught me how to do this(the granny square) technique many years ago. I mastered it then,but I have been trying for awhile to accomplish it again. Thank you for bringing back beautiful memories.

@Sharone326 Hello Beautiful. Thank you for watching. I encourage you to pick it up again, make a memory quilt or afghan to put in the most sacred space of your home. It's like riding a bicycle, once you start again, your fingers will remember :). I do it to relax and it makes beautiful gifts as well.
