This was the first project for my organic modeling class. We had to choose the head of cartoon character and convert it into 3D. I chose Popeye the sailor man. Not too bad for my first Organic Modeling project. Threw on some subsurface scattering to my liking and made it look cartoony.

As soon as I get to character rigging, I think I will set this guy up because it would kick ass.

  • That is an amazing job, you could be making new Popeye Cartoons, do the other charecters!

  • I could be if I had the spare time, I've been working on my final project now for this class and it is taking a ton of time. Maybe if I have time in the summer, I'll do the rest of his body and maybe model out Olive. Next semester I have to do rigging so he will for sure be in the works for animating and rigging. But that won't be for a few months though.
