  • You don't really heat the oven at all. If it's 80 - 90 degrees that is fine. We put it in the oven because there are no drafts and it is just warm enough for it to rise.

  • Hi, I loved watching your mom make these but what to you do with them? What do you serve them with. Really interested. I used to make a kind of Italian doughnut with my grandmother and when she got older I had to mix the dough . I loved the videos

  • We smother them in gravy and have them as part of our turkey dinner for thanksgiving. A Czech tradition. :)

  • at what temperature do you heat the dough? and there is a cloth above the dough? Is that safe - not that I will have fire!?

  • What a great grandma! this video was not only educational, but entertaining! Thank you for the fantastic video and recipe. Will be making these for my sisters restaurant to accompany country pork ribs and saurkraut. Will let u know how customers like them. Again, thank you.

  • Super! I'm going to try these and svickova na smetane for the first time this Christmas. With the dumplings, do you ever use baking powder instead of yeast?

  • They are indeed fantastic, I do however add some spices such as pepper, nutmeg, maggi, parsley, and bury them in a yeager sauce gravy.

I like you mom, first dammit, than bless the lord lol.

  • Loved the Video I live outside Lexington KY

  • amazingly helpful!!! i can't wait to try it out.
