I find Richard's death especially sad because I see him as a role model for creative gay people. Finding out that such an amazing person was gay like I am makes me have hope for my own future.

Very very sad, the muppets I will always love but watching the movies like others state it is hard knowing they aren't here however we do pass there humour to our kids

always loved richard hunt's work. he is also remembered as the early voices for miss piggy and elmo!

The pitch of the music you did here sounds better than from the movie. Did it sound like that from the CD or something? This deep tone is more Muppet-related than the movie's sound.

A beautiful tribute to a great muppeteer who will always have a place in childrens hearts for bringing us so many of the characters we all grew up with and loved. we love you richard
What is this song and who's singing it? It sounds like Kermit and Miss Piggy.

It is, it's also the other muppets. It's "Saying Goodbye" from "Muppets Take Manhatten"

I wanted to use videos, and by the time I'd downloaded all those, my bandwidth was already screaming at me,
but Sweetums is there in our hearts ^^

I feel like I've just started to get to know this guy. He fascinates me to no end. Scooter is probably my favourite muppet and it saddens me that he's not really around anymore.

I know exactly what you mean, I feel just the same way. I can hardly bring myself to believe that all my great heroes in life died while I was just a child. Jim and Richard both died before I was even in school- and John Denver died while I was in third Grade.
While I still see evidence of them everyday around me, its hard to really think about the fact they're not really alive.
But I guess they are, in their own immortal way :)
