XLR-8 was my first ever roller coaster :D

plus i've heard rumors that its now a PARKING LOT for the rodeo.does anyone know what happened to it?

@Alvaro872 Parking space for the Reliant stadium, and because it was "Too Costly" to keep up with. (Personally I think thats a load of bullshit, if anything Astroworld added LOADS of money into the city.

same :( i once dreamed that i built all the coaster by hand one by one and rode all of them in one day. it was a wierd dream. the closest park we got next to us now is mexiland in san antonio

I went to this place so many times it was like my home away from home!I Miss it so much i think they should build it from scratch because this place was the best!

Dungeon drop was built in 97 I believe, not 1984. Because I remember going to the park right after it was installed as a new ride and it def was not in 1984

@tabitha9592 actually Ultra Twister is currently in storage at SFGA but it was so damaged my the demolition, it may never be put back up.

I am a native Houstonian and it is really sad to drive by there and see an open field when I spen so many fun times in my youth out there. Whoever decided to pull the plug SHOULD have been fired!! People would come from all over to see Astroworld- They should be ASHAMED of themselves for killing off our WONDERFUL amusement park!! They should revive it!

Nobody blame Six Flags it wasn't there fault it was Time Warner's fault they were the one's in charge of Six Flags and decided this but Six Flags doesn't really exsite except for The original in Dallas Six Flags is just what Preimer Parks (The preasent owners) call themselves.

@tabitha9592 Wrong Ultra Twister now stands in Japan as well Ultra Twister XD Texas Cyclone was trashed cause there was no other chocie Woodies have to be totally destoryed when they are and XLR8 is in storage last year Fiesta Texas had plans but that didn't work.

@Lwatson09 i damn near fell out of excalibur as a kid, AWESOME ride. so old and rickety that you might have actually died on it.... ah the good old days
