It's called a "zahgareet"(pardon my misdpelling) a high pitch yell which gives approval and appreciation for the performer. There are many in the bellydancing community who know Layia and admire her. Her white costume is absolutely stunning! Her subtle dance moves along with her white bra and veil sends shivvers down my spine and ignites my inner passions all at the same time. I love her!

I can't help but ask..who is the heckling jackal that sounds like a constipated cat in almost all Laylia's vids? Is it because Laylia's dancing is torture to watch for the poor soul?
