This recording was over-driven. EVERYTHING, guitars, vocals even the drums... on purpose! Revolution is a very powerful thing, it takes energy and raw power..... so the song lyrics have the energy and the music is the power! Lennon used feed back before anyone else, in the opening of I Feel Fine. Here, the Beatles distort everything... not just a guitar or a solo.... they distort and over drive the entire composition. And it obviously worked.... a huge hit, with a meaning to a generation.
