Mendham Grain elevator Demolition - 17/06/2009

Like thousands of other towns throughout Western Canada, Mendham, Saskatchewan losses the last of their once five elevators, marking the end of an era for yet another small farming town. Sorry the video quality is a bit blurry because it was recorded with my little point and shoot.

We had alot of joy bringing them down. it is a shame but they were so full of pigeons. but hey, we'd probably do it again.

oh so sad. as is the disappearance of barns in the U.S. for lack of maintenance. so many are falling down . you prompt me to think of finishing a vid about them. lots of barn footage here; interesting at times to see the methods of demolition and implosion. thx, blahh992
