Stephen Prime - cinematographer
A graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, I started my professional life as a cinematographer in 1986. Over the next two decades I worked extensively throughout Asia and Australasia. In 1988 I DoPd theĀ commercially successful feature film The 13th Floor followed by work ranging from TV Drama to TVCs, Music Videos to Documentary. I began to direct and shoot in the early 90s while based in Singapore. Returning to Sydney in 1994 I launched Eden Street Films and the company quickly became a successful commercial production house with its own digital facilities. In 1998 the company produced Powder Burn, my debut feature as writer/director. During this time I was also the preferred cinematographer to document the building of the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Since selling my interest in Eden in 2002 I have happily returned to the freelance ranks. Most recently I DoPd and produced the indie feature Roadman
