@greentownshiphistory That's their city Gov't's fault as well as the people. Detroit is also littered with paper & trash, but if they had a re-cycling plant there the City wouldn't have that problem. You never see bottles & cans on the streets of Detroit because you can deposit them. Here in Virginia, we get monetary credit off our trash collection bill when we recycle paper, cardboard, cans & bottles. Virginia remains 1 of the cleanest States in America. Recycling generates jobs too.
@greentownshiphistory Edison may look like a dump, but the people there got to see President Obama .. something the majority of Americans haven't gotten to see. I live approx 40 minutes from the White House, work 15 minutes from there, & I haven't seen his motorcade yet! :-) So cudos to Edison ^5
