Look at the way she squeezes the water onto him! Disgusting! It's a little baby...not a piece of furniture!a Take the time to dampen the rag (or sponge) and wipe him down slowly and gently. Why is she rushing so much? Does she have some place else where she needs to be?
The nurses handle these babies in such a perfunctory and mechanical way. They have no regard for what the child is experiencing, no matter what they say! I know this because I have seen a few instances where they were gentle and caring and it was SO much better, nicer and more humane.
Poor baby! He's in distress and nobody seems to care! There has to be a better way of doing this, and in fact I've seen a few instances where nurses were much more gentle and humane.
