Yeah I live in Ireland and next door, the UK has access to paid apps in the Android Market. what makes it even funnier is the fact that Google's European HQ is located here in Dublin and it is the largest operation outside the US!!! One would seriously wonder! lol On a bright note, if you get an application called Market Enabler, it fools the location and is now supported on 2.1 I believe so it means you can get paid apps. Also, you can download apps on your PC and sync them to your HTC etc

@GaeilgeSpraoi yeah there are ways around it, market enabler requires a rooted phone for that trick however. The easiest way is probably to use an emulator on the computer.

@mt69298 Yeah i tried to root the phone but it seemed too compicated and it may void my warranty. How do you do the emulator? I'm interested. :)

@GaeilgeSpraoi Just google it. It's really simple. Basically you just download the Android SDK and start it up.
