It's inconsequential whatever the perceived outside environment is feeding you, it's whether you believe it or not that ultimately creates the emotional expression. For an attractive person who perceives incorrect thoughts to be true about their appearance it doesn't matter if the environment praises their looks they'll still feel ugly.

I partially agree with you and I partially don't.
I think if her work genuinely helps people feel better about themselves and their situations then that's a good thing.
However, I don't find her methods helpful or useful at all. And I went into it with an open mind.
People will take what they will from almost anything. If it makes you a better person then YAY! More power to you! But not the same methods work for everyone. We're all snowflakes hahaha.

a lot of guys would use the rejection thing in seminars so women in the audience like you would think "he's not so ugly & he says he'd do anything to please a woman gee I think I'd like that guy" & before you know it this guy has all these phone numbers from women taking what he says at face value.

he is so cute :-)
As for 'how can such a cute guy feel ugly', you're part of the problem that Byron Katie's trying to eradicate.
When the world forms so many evaluations about such superficial characteristics, then attaches them to your 'market value', it's easy to feel 'cute' and it's easy to feel 'ugly' based on how the people in the world treat you.
Are you even thinking, never mind feeling?
